I don’t know about you, but this sudden cold weather has me wishing I could spend the day curled up in bed instead of going to class. You know what would make this sudden chill in the air a little bit more bearable? A bonfire!
Just imagine, the sound of wood crackling, the feeling of warmth waving over you like a big bear hug, that comforting smell of camp and wood filling your nose, not to mention the magnificent sight that is a fire reaching towards the treetops.
Doesn’t that sound great? Well, you’re in luck! This Thursday at 8pm in Saylor Park, Campbell’s Baptist Student Union will be hosting their annual bonfire! Not only will it be a fire to remember, there will also be worship and Chad Reed will be there to speak. Just be sure to bring a blanket to sit on and enjoy the worship, fellowship, and message, all under God’s beautiful creation. BSU will also be providing s’mores to snack on, so bring your appetite!
Hope to see you there! In the meantime, stay warm!
