Spending the last 3 weeks with Capital Ford I think I’m finally starting to get the hang of things. Not to say there isn’t plenty more to learn, but I feel more comfortable explaining what each person in each department does for their everyday job. I have spent most of my time here re-learning how to use the shortcuts in excel, and running errands for people none-the-less. Fellow employees are learning my name minus the few that still call me “intern”.
I was able to sit in on two training classes, a customer experience workshop, a meeting with one of the lead providers that Capital Ford works with, and a phone meeting with CarGurus. Being busy is an understatement.
I am getting used to the “work life” after spending most of my years of life in school, and although waking up early isn’t the best for someone who can honestly say they’re not a morning person, this experience will all be worth it in the end. Graduation is only 4 short months away!
