  1. What is your favorite place on campus and why? In what way has this place impacted your time at Campbell?
    • “My favorite place on campus would probably be the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business. It might just be because that’s where I spend the majority of my time doing stuff, whether it be for classes or attending events, but I have definitely seen myself develop in the business school. Coming into college I was a very reserved person and would hardly go out of my way to make friends, I would often expect them to come to me if they’d want to talk, so that I wouldn’t make an attempt to be friends with somebody and be “rejected.” But over the years,  I’ve gotten more comfortable being at the business school and in classes, so it has really helped me develop my own community of friends that “freshman year me” would’ve probably never thought would have happened.”
  2. If you had the chance to change one thing at Campbell, what would it be and why?
    • “If there was one thing I could change for Campbell, it would probably be the amount of places that take Creek Bucks/Camel Bucks. I know there’s some variety on the dining website that shows areas that take that form of payment, but whenever I actually go in person, they tell me they don’t accept it and I have to pay with my debit card anyways. I understand that getting businesses to accept another form of payment like that could be difficult, but if it could be achieved then I feel like there would be a lot more business for that restaurant anyways.”
  3. What clubs and organizations are you involved in around campus?
    • ” I most recently became a CA for McCall Hall at the beginning of this fall and am loving it so far. The opportunity to gain leadership experience and develop relationships with the residents is extremely beneficial to me. I’m also involved in the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business Marketing Council. We haven’t had much going on recently for that since we have just hired somebody new to handle marketing, but hopefully, it gets started soon. I’m also a part of LFSB Dean’s Student Council, where we discuss how things are among the business school and where they can improve on.”
  4. What is your favorite memory that has happened to you during your time at Campbell?
    • “My favorite memory at Campbell would probably be when I was at the dining hall my first year and I was eating alone until one of my professors noticed and asked if he could join me. I know it is something small, but I wasn’t having the best week and it was comforting knowing that my professor remembered my name and wanted to have lunch with me. Since then, I have always felt like I belonged at Campbell and have felt comfortable.”
  5. If you had one piece of advice to offer a freshman, what would it be?
    • “One piece of advice I’d have to offer to freshmen is to get involved. Going into college, not many people know what they 100% want to do just yet. So, use the first year or two to explore what options there are. I even changed my major after my 3rd semester since I used my first year to explore what all there is at the business school and decided to pursue something I was the most passionate about. Now I’m very involved in the business school doing things that go with my major and am gaining experience as I go. My experience with the business school has also helped me land jobs that I don’t think my first-year self would’ve got if I stuck myself with the same major.”
