I interviewed a student while petting the camels. I asked “What is the best thing about seeing the camels?” and she said “Being able to see the real mascot brings excitement to the whole school”. I then asked “What does this mean to you as a student here at CU?” she said, “This means the world to me and my friends because being here brought us all together and we have a bond for life because of CU”.
Not only does the camel petting zoo provide entertainment, but it also fosters a sense of community and school spirit. The live mascot becomes a symbol of unity, representing the pride and enthusiasm that the school community shares. Students leave the event with a deeper connection to their school and a unique story to share with their friends and family.
