One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned as a student-athlete at Campbell is the importance of relationships. Football is a team sport, and having a strong bond with your teammates makes all the difference on and off the field. My teammates are like my second family, we push each other to be better, celebrate each other’s wins, and support each other through the tough times.
But it’s not just about the guys on the field, it’s about building connections with coaches, professors, and staff members is just as crucial. Whether it’s a coach who believes in you, a professor who understands the challenges of being a student-athlete, or a trainer who helps you stay healthy, these relationships create a network of support that keeps you grounded and motivated throughout your college journey. They remind you that you’re not alone in this grind and help you stay focused when things get tough.
