During football season, it’s easy to become consumed by the sport, but creating habits to clear your mind can help maintain balance. In my free time, I like to practice yoga to calm my mind and temporarily get football out of my head. It’s a great way to relax and focus on my breathing, helping me clear any stress or tension from the game. The mindfulness aspect of yoga allows me to disconnect from football, so I can recharge both physically and mentally. It’s become an essential part of my routine during the season, giving me the mental space I need to perform my best when I’m back on the field. Taking this time for myself helps me stay balanced and focused, both on and off the field.
