For many college students, the gym is more than just a place to work out, it’s a space to de-stress, improve focus, and stay healthy while having a busy schedule. After talking to several students around campus, I’ve found that exercise helps them manage stress from exams and deadlines, allowing them to clear their minds and return to their work with better concentration. Others love the social aspect of the gym, using it as an opportunity to meet new people or fitness bonds. Regular workouts improve their physical health, boost energy, and help with better sleep, which is crucial during hectic weeks. From the questions I asked students I got that the gym provides a sense of accomplishment and confidence, making students feel better about themselves both physically and mentally. ~ George Wilson
