Student-athlete #9

Learning to say “no” as a student-athlete has been one of the most important lessons I’ve learned. It’s easy to feel obligated to say yes to everything but taking on too much can lead to burnout and stress. Prioritizing my time and energy means saying no to things that don’t align with my goals or that interfere with rest and recovery. It can be tough, especially when you don’t want to disappoint others, but setting boundaries is essential for maintaining balance. Ultimately, saying no allows me to say yes to what truly matters.
