Robbie Laing, head men’s basketball coach, was let go this morning after being with the school since 2003. Over his 10 years here, he went 114-185, with this season seeing a 13-20.
“Laing helped transform Campbell basketball over the past decade into a team that was competitive on the court and exciting to watch,” said Bob Roller, Director of Athletics.
Campbell is looking to a new future, though. Laing said, “They want to move in a different direction, and they certainly have that prerogative,” according to a FayObserver article.
The search for a new coach has already begun. We wish Laing the best, and look to the future. Changes are certainly evident.
