Having been at Capital Ford for about 3 months now I’ve really gotten to know the business. There’s always something new to learn, but I feel like I’ve come close to learning exactly what the Business Development Team does. I haven’t been trained to make customer calls because that takes months to learn, but I know the who, what, when, where, and why they do what they do. With that being said, I’m starting to feel a lot more confident going into work every day.
This week along with weeks to come are for me to collect all of my data I’ve gotten from this experience in order to put it into a portfolio. I have excel spreadsheets, pictures, videos, scripts, and all of the information I’ve been given which will be collaborated and presented to my internship class. I will be explaining what my purpose was at Capital Ford for the last 4 months of being there. I’m still attending meetings, completing busy work, and learning something new every day but it’s all quickly coming to an end as is my internship experience blog.
Time is flying by and I’ve started the application process. I’m really hoping that my internship will give me a one-up when applying to advertising/marketing companies around Raleigh.
Until next week!
