The 7th annual Academic Symposium was held on Thursday, March 30 starting at 9:00 AM. This event took place in the Wiggins Memorial Library and involved peers, faculty, and guest who gathered together to explore exciting work taking place in diverse disciplines across campuses!
From 9:00 AM-4:00 PM the oral presentations took place.
From 4:00 PM-5:00 PM audiences enjoyed performing arts presentations in the Turner Auditorium.
From 4:00 PM-5:15 PM were the poster presentations, art exhibits, and of course, hors d’oeuvres.
From 5:00 PM-5:30 PM guests enjoyed the dessert reception in the Academic Circle.
To end the day, from 5:30 PM-6:00 PM, the closing awards were given out.
The Academic Symposium includes the hard work of student research presentations and original works representing multiple disciplines. This event has become a highly anticipated Campbell tradition and showcases the best student work at Campbell. If you weren’t able to attend this time around, make sure to set some time aside for next years Symposium.
