There are several events going on around campus this week. On Tuesday February 11th, the Divinity School Chapel Service will be held in Butler Chapel at 10:40 a.m. This service will be led by Dr. Reginald Van Stephens, who is the pastor at White Rock Baptist Church in Durham. On February 13th (Thursday), Campus Kitchen is having their second meal service of the semester at 4 p.m. Campus Kitchen prepares and serves approximately one meal every other week to families in Western Harnett County at Johnsonville Elementary School in Cameron, NC. Also on the 13th, CAB is hosting game show night at the Hobson Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. On Saturday the 15th, Campbell will host the 2nd Annual Harnett County African American Heritage Festival on Main Street at 11 a.m. The event will have vendors, food, entertainment, and speakers.
Several athletic teams have home events this week. Women’s tennis has 3 home matches. The ladies face off against NCCU on Monday at 3:30 p.m, Coastal Carolina on Wednesday at 2 p.m, and ECU on Friday at 2 p.m. Lacrosse hosts Coastal Carolina on Wednesday at 3 p.m. for their first home match of the season. Men’s basketball hosts Hampton on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Radford on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Also on Thursday, Men’s tennis hosts Elon at 2 p.m. and Wrestling host Appalachian State at 6 p.m. in Carter Gym. Women’s basketball returns home on Saturday (February 15th) at 2 p.m. against Radford. Softball is hosting the Campbell Invitational starting on Friday. They will play a double header on Friday against Bucknell (3 p.m.) and St. Francis (5:30 p.m.), and square off against Mount St. Mary’s on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. On Sunday, softball wraps up their weekend against Howard at 3 p.m. and Lacrosse battles Mercer at 1:30 p.m.
