Nick Potter is a freshman from Winterville, NC. He is a Communication Studies- Prelaw major who is a quadruplet, plays guitar, and a student manager on the basketball team.
Most people hear about twins or maybe triplets, but you’re a quadruplet. Can you describe what it was like growing up with three siblings the same age as you?
It was pretty crazy. We’re all really competitive. That could be for attention, or in school, or anything we’re doing. We had to really learn to work together with each other, and to not try to kill each other.
How did you end up at Campbell?
This was the first place I toured, and I just kind of fell in love with it when I came. I really enjoyed the campus, and it seemed pretty “home-y.”
Are you involved in any extracurricular activities or any organizations on campus?
I’m a manager for the men’s basketball team.
Can you describe what that’s like? What does your role with the basketball team involve?
We go to every single practice- help set up and break down the practices. We rebound for the players, do laundry, and we get to travel with the team, which is probably the coolest part.
What are you most looking forward to during your next few years at Campbell?
Definitely getting more into my major classes will be fun, and also meeting more people.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I play guitar. I started playing when I was 8, because my older brother played, and I wanted to copy him. All my siblings play instruments.
