I must say walking onto campus Friday broke my heart completely. I was supposed to graduate in May with my family surrounding me but instead I now have to prepare for an virtual video call in order for us to experience this together. No one could have prepared me for the amount of pressure Covid-19 has added to my mind. I did not envision my last year as an college student to look this way. I took the picture of the new student union because I wanted to experience that building at least once before I moved onto a new chapter but sadly I will not be able to do so. All I have spoke about since I came to Campbell University was the opportunity to wear my medallion and walk across the stage with the ones I know and have grown attached to while spending time here at Campbell University.
