Midterm Recess | Pumpkin spice and everything nice!

Midterm Recess, otherwise known as Fall Break is a time where students often reflect on their semester thus far and take a small break from classes. At Campbell, students get two days off from classes to sit back and relax, while taking in the beautiful fall air, or as we know it in North Carolina, Summer part two. This week, I sat down with multiple students and asked what their plans were for fall break and these were their answers.

“I plan to reflect on the semester I have had thus far and see what I can do to improve and better myself over the last six weeks of classes. I am also planning to go home and visit with my family for the few days that I can, before I graduate and begin my career hunt.” – Jared Howington | Senior

“My plans for break are me being the Community Assistant on Duty for Burkot, McCall, & Small Halls for the weekend for Residence Life and Housing. ” – Nicolette Dechamplain | Sophomore

Mackenzie Wood, Junior provided this meme when asked and answered with:

“Me when my plans for Fall Break are to work on a couple of essays.”

“My plan is to be a little hobbit, hang out at the river and going on hikes. I might go fishing and see how patient I can be, but I know that I’m not that patient so we’ll see what I catch. I hope I don’t fall in. I’ll go to the beach and judge people… I like doing that hehehe. Maybe I’ll go on an adventure who knows.” -Catalina Rodriguez | Senior

“My plan for fall recess is to travel to go see some family. My family has a wedding in Atlanta so I feel like it would be great to get away and spend some time with some family. I also have plans to continue working out in my sport to take my mind off of midterms this week. I plan to come back refreshed and ready to take on the second half of this semester!” -Chastity Pickett| Senior
