The 14th Annual Academic Symposium showcases many of our camels’ authentic and brilliant work over the past year. Starting off with many long research papers that could be on any topic related to their curriculum, many CU students presented their thorough research on the top floor of the Wiggins Memorial Library to several judges and other students in the audience.
These presentations went well into the afternoon and around noon the art exhibit opened up allowing many student artists to showcase their work and explain their work. The stunning displays were followed by the Poster Session in the Student Union Ballrooms with great catering for all in attendance and then ended by some impressive musical performances in the Butler Chapel. At 5:15PM, the Symposium officially ended with the Keynote Address by Dr. Laura Lunsford and the Symposium Awards given out based on the judges’ voting panel.
The Academic Symposium is always an amazing experience, put together with work from the Library and Academic Affairs, the event is a chance to truly honor all the hard work that our students have put in Campbell University.
