It’s finally here! Whether you’re going all out or keeping it low key, here’s everything you need for a spooky weekend at the Creek.
Friday Night
Kick off the weekend with a movie. Masters of the Universe is playing at 9:00 PM in the Union Theater. Missed it Tuesday? This is your last chance.
Want to show some Camel pride first? Volleyball takes on Elon at 6:00 PM. Pull it up and cheer them on before the movie.
Saturday: Halloween!
Start your day with football. The Camels play UAlbany at noon, so grab some snacks and watch with friends.
Volleyball plays Elon again at 3:00 PM, and men’s soccer wraps up the day at Elon at 7:00 PM.
Then it’s costume time. Still don’t have one? Check out our Tips for Tuesday post for last-minute costumes you can make from your dorm room.
Low-Key Halloween Ideas
Not into parties? Here are some cozy ways to celebrate:
- Have a scary movie marathon with your roommates
- Paint mini pumpkins
- Make a candy run and swap treats with friends
- Take fall photos at one of our favorite campus spots
Sunday
Don’t forget: daylight saving time ends Sunday morning, so set your clocks back an hour. That’s one extra hour of sleep, and after this week, you’ve earned it.
Women’s soccer also closes out its regular season at UNCW. Send them some love!
Show Us Your Costumes!
Tag the Pine Burr in your Halloween photos this weekend for a chance to be featured on the blog and in the yearbook.
Stay safe, have fun, and Happy Halloween, Camels!
