Whitney Myers is a Healthcare Management senior from Charlotte, North Carolina.
What is an interesting fact about you?
An interesting fact about me is that I will eat pizza, macaroni and cheese, and cheez-its, but otherwise, I will not eat cheese at all. Also, I never mix my spaghetti and sauce together. I have to eat them separately. (Haha!)
Favorite moment at Campbell and Why?
One of my favorite memories at Campbell is getting together with friends and attending the various campus wide activities. The activities gave us away to take a break from studying and catch up.
What do you want to do after graduation?
After graduation, my plan is to work in Hospital Administration and then later pursue my MBA.
What is your favorite food?
One of my favorite foods is crab cakes.
Who is your inspiration and why?
My mom, Dr. Sylvia Myers, is my greatest inspiration. She set the bar high for me as early as I can remember and told me that I had all I needed to achieve. She is my biggest cheerleader. She always told me that it’s not always the “smartest” people who make it in life; those who make it have to hustle. She is triumphant, understanding, holds strong values, and is the ultimate role model.
What has been your hardest class thus far? Why?
My hardest class has been Quantitative Methods because of the in depth concepts and rigorous course content. However, I had an amazing professor who worked with us whenever we needed clarification and explanation.
Hobby/favorite way to spend time?
I enjoy running and I find it relaxing and a way to relieve stress. I also enjoy just simply watching movies.
