This past weekend, was a good one here in The Creek with football and women’s soccer winning their games. The football team played against Butler on Saturday at noon, and the final score was 28-9. Fans wore pink for Camels for a Cure. Students that arrived early enough at the women’s soccer game received a hot pink Camels for a Cure t-shirt. The game started at 7 and all the t-shirts were gone by 6:30. The women’s soccer game also had to be delayed because of a small storm the came through on Saturday night. Despite that, fans still came out to see the ladies defeat Presbyterian 2-1.
Friday night, students gathered in Turner Auditorium to watch Maleficent. Despite the movie being portrayed as a dark film, it was actually sweet with some funny parts as well.
