This past weekend was the end of Spring Fling. Friday night was a double feature of both Captain America movies to go with the America week theme of the week. On Saturday morning, students gathered to volunteer with special needs adults. It was a great experience for everyone involved. Later that day, was the spring formal at the Grand Marquise in Garner, North Carolina. The venue looked gorgeous and the chocolate covered strawberries were delightful. Once a few line dances were played, the dance floor stayed packed with people in fabulous dressed and suits.
This coming week may not be as busy as last week, but with Relay for Life on Friday, many committees are under pressure to have everything ready for the fundraiser.
This week:
Monday March 23: Academic Symposium from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Wiggins Library. A woman’s tennis match will be at 2:30. CAB General Meeting at 5 p.m.
Tuesday March 24: Students can begin signing up for the Tennessee trip which will be April 17-19.
Wednesday March 25: Relay for Life Team Captain meeting at 5 p.m. in the Trustee Room.
Friday March 27: Relay for Life at 3 p.m. in Academic Circle. Baseball game at 6 p.m.
