This past weekend was Family Weekend at Campbell University. There were several games for the families to attend.
Friday: Women’s Volleyball won against High Point 3-1
Saturday: Women’s Soccer tied with Liberty 0-0
Men’s Soccer lost against Davidson 3-1
The Football Team won against Valparasio 34-24
Along with these four sporting events, there were activities for the families to enjoy campus with their students. On Friday was Beach in the Creek. With food such as chicken, potatoes, and brownies to dancing along to music provided by a Caribbean duo. Some students even enjoyed playing corn hole and hula hooping. On Saturday, an Autumn Festival took place. There were many inflatables such as an obstacle course, and a boxing ring. When people got hungry, cotton candy and popcorn was provided. Many clubs were also there selling things such as salsa and caramel apples. It was a great weekend in the creek and here is a recap of some of the festivities.
